I done the premier one 3 years ago and then the elite with the blades the year after. I highsided the blade at 90mph and wrote the bike off! I survived with mild concusion but it was a great day. Highly recommended. That track experience fueled me to get a track bike so I bought a CBR600f did 2 trackdays with it then bought an RR. So if your easiliy influenced like my self watch out it can turn in to an addiction!! Looking forward to the winter as that means euro trackdays!! Now me and 7 mates all have trackbikes and very rarely go on the road. My blade sits in my living room until my points are clear. So what I'm trying to say its more than just a course, its a (safer) taste of something different which I guarentee most of you guys as blade riders will love
I thought sod it, whatever the weather! My mate did it in the rain and said he learnt more than in the dry! let me know if your going. Our session starts at 1.00pm
Good luck for tomorrow bud. Hope you get a dry spell I decided not to go. Staying at work instead Still - may get something nice for my blade as recompence
Weather was mainly fine. Second session had a bit of rain and was a bit "interesting" but enjoyable. First session was bone dry but the second guy with me and my instructor was snail slow. It was pretty much a waste of time. Second session I was moved to a fast group. It was better but still quite slow due to rain. Last session was still a bit frustraiting as the other guy was holding me up to an extent. Overall, my first time was so much better as I had 1-1 tuition so the instructor doesn't have to allow for the slowest rider. I won't do the premier again as I think the first session will pretty much always be wasted. I need to find something else! Rocket Ron was there going round the track with some young buck who is "an up and coming racer". Don't know who it was though. Some photos........ Me and my Boy Me and my Mrs
Was watching the weather today and kicking myself as I thought it was bone dry. Don't feel so bad now Looks like you had a great day. Perhaps the Elite run next? 1-1 and on blades. My instructor was saying you get lot more time on the bikes too
