On the off-chance, does anyone have the bracket that attaches to the OE Cat collector to enable an aftermarket Akrapovic exhaust to be connected? Its a small collar that goes under the flange on the Cat to allow the Akrapovic link pipe to be connected using the usual Akrapovic spring. Part is 102745 (P-HF75), simply called "Fitting Assembly"
Got a piccy of it or a link? Usually use a Mikalor clamp! Just had a look, it goes on before the Mikalor. If you can't buy one, I can make one for ya?
Cheers megawatt... had a chat to the guys at performance-parts and the official part from Akropovic is £66 The guy suggested a mikelor equivalent but reckons I may struggle to fit it as the hook and tightening screw are in different positions....... we shall see once it arrives
Not the Akrapovic official part, no...... I've bought an equivalent off them for £6 inc postage... I think they said it was Mikalor. The guy said that the loop to hook the spring to, is in a different position in relation to the tightening screw, so it wont be as easy as the Akrapovic to fit... in fact it might even be impossible due to the proximity of the swingarm... but for £6 its got to be worth a punt. If this doesnt work, could I send you some details and get you to knock one up for me? I would guess that its as simple as taking a bog-standard exhaust clamp and welding a small loop of metal to it, for the spring to hook on to.
