I was in UK Yamaha HQ today on a one day course and Paul Denning (Crescent Suzuki owner) was kicking about for most of the day, HHHmmmmmm!

I used to get press passes to Farnborough. After a while I realised that it meant I could stand on the other side of the rope and fight for the shot amongst all the other over equiped phots or take two steps back under the rope to the flight line proper where nobody was stood anyway and not have to go through all the security hassles every other year.

Paul Denning at Yamaha all day? He should really get a new sat nav.

I agree. At a sporting event a "kiss my arse" pass gets the job done but at the stuff I was shooting it was laughable. At the flightline they would literally cordon of an area with rope and put all the pros in there, all fighting and pushing each other out of the way. You could just duck under it and there was hardly a soul around you. We've had hospitality passes and paddock passes for quite a few events thanks to Fuji and Epson. Or rather to the infeasibly large amounts of money we make for them, and there's almost as many people wandering around the "off limits" areas as there are outside. I push for grandstand passes these days where you can at least have a kip while they're shovelling Karel Abrahams up of the road.

Yeah I know what your on about ken , but for me I like the pushing out the way
or you see someone who is only takin pics for themselves and not tryin to make a
few £'s , now them kind of people piss me off , I wouldn't think twice about getting
in there way or there line , but once out on track I find myself in peace really ,
There's tog's everywhere but I always find a corner I can settle down at ,
The paddock stuff I also like , better in the evening everyone's more relaxed and
You can get some interesting pics also ,

or girl that's been invited by mr big wig for company day out
and there on the grid in the way grrrrrrr, , , , , ,

Crossed lines Gibbo mate. I meant the flight line at Farnborough. The line beyond which after burning combat aircraft and spectators shall not mix.

Kiyo just can't leave BSB alone! Will be a good team with Lowes too
