Its a load of shit, popped in the big one at crawley today and they were only giving 10% off stuff, hardley a big give away.
What did you expect? To get a 55" LED TV for a tenner!?! The Administrators have to get as much money from the stock as they can, to pay the creditors. It'll be similar to the HG fire-sale - they'll start by reducing around 10-15% and then increase the reductions as time goes on. They'll end up with the unsaleable stock like scart leads and packs of 3.5" diskettes but the good stuff will go relatively quickly.
They're still not matching equivalent prices on the web. This is no better than the fake sales they always seem to have on anyway.
Well I can't complain. I am now on my new iPad that I bought from comet and I couldn't find it cheaper online.
We bowled in at the weekend looking for a new condenser dryer; the place was packed with vultures looking, but not many queuing to pay! 10% is better then FA but not enough it goes wrong, who's going to administer the warranty? We asked and were told ‘don’t worry, all warranties will be honoured’, But when we asked by who it was meet with a blank face. Think I’ll pass.
Seems to have worked well in Pontefract Comet as it looks like it's been ransacked. Barely anything left on the shelves.
I brought one warrantys are passed to the manufactuer as soon as they leave the shop already had a problem with ours and a new one was dropped off next day by LG
