Thanks, yeah it'll have twin lights with high/low on both sides.

Personal preference, but I think it looks much better with two lights rather than the single sided OEM's

Absolutely love it. Which kit did you use? Was it a 2 lamp H7 HID kit like you use in a car?

Yeah a kit bought from China, did a lot of research in to and all ones available from a UK company are in fact similar or exact same to the ones made in China, just costs a bit more.
I think it doesn't matter whether its for a car or bike, as long as it a H7 fit and has slim ballasts

The actual work wasn't that difficult but the prep work was, I needed to figure out the wiring to power both lens form low and high beams.
There's a ton of videos on youtube of people showing how to open lights and install the lens kit. The wiring part I had to take my time and think it through a bit.
So if I can do it, any one can, I'd defiantly encourage you to give a go, I got a lot of satisfaction doing this, I'll get even more once it's fitted on :)

It looks fantastic Tgosai. Am I the only one that is envisioning a raptor beak on the nose cone?

    They look awsome..

Do you think there will be any heat issues? Wont they generate more heat than the originals?

It does get hot, but no more heat that halogen bulbs would generate, these are the 35w ballasts, the halogens are 55w. The ballasts get warm so had to fit them where there good circulation.

The kit that I bought does most of that, apart from the LED trim round the sides. But from what I read, it's fairly simple, it's an LED strip light that goes round the trim

So did you stick your headlight in the oven to split it then?
And how does the projector lamp fix into place on the inside of the headlamp?

Yeah, had to put the whole unit in for a few mins, have to be very careful though, mine were almost at the point of melting. The other options to use a hair dryer, but that seems a bit too long winded.

yeah, thats pretty much the kit i used, with 6000k but didnt connect the halo or daytime running ligh, i wanted to go for a classic look without over doing it on the other bit, and my lights are set up as standard to come on full once i turn the ignition on. I guess you could have the running lighton but would mean adding a rocker switch for turning main light on/off.
