Hi , after months of pi**ing about with bike shops I've bought my blade from doble motorcycles , payment was made yesterday and bike will be ready for collection next Friday morning , only 2 mods on bike so far tail tidy and a seat cowl , and before anyone asks why not wait till new reg reason is this , I've waited long enough for this bike with being ill and pi**ing around , and I'm not going to wait another 6/7 weeks for it , I just want to get it home and hopefully ride it , so now I'm looking forward to the Wirral egg run , Scotland tour , a few north Wales ride outs , and a couple of track days , No pictures yet but soon and you know I like takin pictures so look out 6 days and counting ............
Brilliant news barney!!! Well done fella - cant wait to see it. What you go for in the end!? Think this is going to be the most excited 6 sleeps count down ever lol
If I wasn't so fecking ill that I need to be laid out on the sofa being fed sweets and hot drinks and far to frail to go to the outlaws and fawn over the new great grandchild... I'd fall over. Fuck me Steve. I was expecting the FireBlade to be a hover bike before you swung your skinny arse across the saddle of one. Well done sir.
I've gone for the fastest one of course , white , not everyone's first choice ( cause of the speed I suppose ) But I do like it a lot .
Well you know I love the black ones Steve but its obvious to anyone with half a brain that the white ones are the best (especially with a blue bum). Despite all the bollocks spoken about orange, which is only, really, any good as a colour as a sign for a petrol station, so it stands out in the distance when you're deep into reserve, remember that the official 'racing' colour for Japan is white, so Honda make all the fastest ones white so you don't have to ponce about with all these 'lesser' paint jobs when you go racing. It does worry the boy racers at night when they see a white bike loom up in their mirrors too.
Well you started off well Ken, but it all went down hill after the first eight words. Nice one Barney, about time too.
Really really chuffed for you Steve .We all know it's been tough out there for you and perhaps a new bike was not on top of your agender so I think you have done a super job well done. Looking forward to meeting up at The Midway .
Great news Steve - know its taken a while to get there but good to see it finally arriving - Is there no way they can deliver it this week but register it for March 1st ? Just an idea but could be too late of course - You wont miss much waiting 5 weeks given ice / salt / crap all over the roads. FS365 at the ready I hope for it plus venture shield and a rad guard next on list. Can't wait for pics and hope you have as many trouble free miles with your bike as I have had with mine!
I think it's too late now al , but havin bike stuck in garage and know I can't ride it till march will kill me if we have a couple of dry days , but to be honest 13 plate don't really bother me . Thanks for all your help and advice al over the last couple of months .
Nice 1 Steve. Can't wait to see it in the flesh on the Scotland tour. Though it will be slower in those colours Joking aside mate. Well done and I hope it's all you thought it would be and more.
