Fastest I seen the clock go was 176 but I could barely hold on thought I was gonna get blown off the back! But I suppose I'm not the smallest person
Doubt mine will even do that now it has a +2 rear sprocket, but then top speed has never been a goal of mine
It's something I won't be doing again it was about 3am, was 2 tiny rear lights in far distance I looked at the clocks quickly then looked up to realise the car was right infront of me! Scared the crap out of me to be honest I can't believe how quick things come up
I think the only two times I want to see 176 mph on the clock would be just after take off and just before landing.
on closed road's I seen 185 on the older blades but only 180 on the rr9, is it slower or is the clock more accurate?

That is serious power, anything 500bhp+ is likely to give a bike a run for his money.We have to have a go don't we. Best place I like is coming out out Dartford tolls.
i test drove an rs4 last year and it was very lively and the rs6 runs about 160 bhp more on top (the latest model anyway) and tops out about 570 bhp in standard trim. the 4 is restricted to 155 not sure about the 6 i assume it would be also. with the limiter removed the rs4 is good for about 175 i think so can see the 6 going past that by a fair bit. theres some seriously quick motors out there for those with deep pockets lol
At a guess she must have been allowed to remove any speed limiters as a production bike speed record could not be governed by limiters also seems that small mods like tape on panels are also permitted.. but it's and official record so no doubt it's 100% true and would have been through the spanners to be valid too.
