Ok the wife and my 2 girls want to come to some trackdays with me. Lovely can't think of anything better, but the only prob is other than Anglesey (4-5 hour drive away), And Pembrey, which tracks can I go where they are not red hot on noise regs,

prob I have is the May holiday i'm away, and 2 weeks in Aug so thats a lot of time taken away from being able to book trackdays when the kids are off.

I need to fit my baffle and get it tested at my local track Castle combe to find out when the level is, hoping under 101db with the baffle in the Yoshi R77 on my blade, other wise I was also hoping for suggestions of a maker of can's that are quieter and ideal for trackdays. And other than having to fit the heavy ugly standard exhaust back on

Any suggestions or tips, weekend trackdays would be ideal for me and the family apart from the noise regs and not wanting to travel more than 3 hours aware from bristol

Forgot to add, which organizers have pembrey on their trackday list?

tbh theres not loads of trackdays now that aren't limited.as long as your under 102 you'll be fine at most tracks, unless it's a quiet day obviously.

the main thing to remember is to always pack some wire wool incase your just over the limit and have a strict tester, and always always make sure your bike is fully upto temp.

Wire wool up the exhaust I gather. So under 102 and most tracks I'm sorted with? Right the search to ensure its under 102

Silverstone is fine on noise. 102 dB drive by, if you trip that you get flagged and tested 105 dB static.

    Not many weekend dates though.

Stunning to know and looking at a few dates in the summer so will give him a bell over the next few weeks.

Uncle numpty, just a question did you do a track day with Phil at Pembrey? I only ask as on his website is does day about a strict 102db limit, I've never had a noise test at Pembrey

Did you get noise tested if you went to Pembrey with him ?

if i remember correctly i was only tested once last year, they test random at the moment, the guy is stood just before the holding area,so he grabs you if you sound a bit loud, ive got a gp pro on my bike with baffle he said it was ok,but only just.i did about 5 trackdays in pembray last year and to be honest both phil bevan and focused events were good.i find it really relaxed.
