    Watching Coronation Street for the last 50 years is like being in prison. Like Escape From New York but with Manchester. I'd escape back into New York rather than that. Even the Krays got less than that.

    Your not wrong Ken .When we were young this shite was on the telly every Wed (i think) and of course every mum and grandma watched it so Albert Tatlock Ena Sharples ect is all you ever got .It was this or the news from vietnam both of no interest to a young un .So yes as soon as i broke free i have never watched the crap .
