I am at Anglesey circuit next weekend and at Oulton on 27th April. Am just keeping my fingers crossed for some drier warmer weather!
Hi Barney, yes I did meet you on the July (?) ride out last year. You did yet another grand effort of following us around the country taking some superb shots.
Thought I met you mate , look forward to seeing you Saturday the 27/4/ oulton , Coffee , white , one sugar lol.
Cheers Fez! I am going into the superstock 600 class, as it seems to have a good spread of bikes. I am not entering a series this year, as I am just focusing on getting rid of my novice licence and orange vest, which I will do after 10 meetings (hopefully!!), so am doing the majority of meetings at Anglesey circuit, a couple at Donnington, one at Oulton and then I will have to find another one somewhere.
Hi Robin, i'll be there on Sunday too. Sector marshall for the W100 for my sins so i'll see you out and about on circuit. Have a good weekend and lets hope for some decent weather there. Not sure what the craic is on the A55, I'm sure there are road works somewhere. Be ok going I guess, but it'll be a pain in the ring on the way back home though
I marshalled with the W100 many many years ago and got the racing bug from there. Good weather would be nice, but dry and chilly would do. as for the A55, good luck. Just watch out at Penmaenmawr for the 40 limit as they have average speed cameras. The other limits don't have cameras. Yet!!
Ta Robin, I think I know exactly where you mean. Aren't they re-doing the roundabout there? I've been in the marshalling game for about 10+ years now, only do the W100 (Anglesey + Oulton) and Aintree with a round of Thundersport GB thrown in. I guess you'll know John Griffiths and Neil Broughton then?
Yep, the roundabout has been taken up and put back again for no good reason, apart from causing mayhem to the A55. Don't know either John or Neil by name, but may recognise them. I reckon it was 1994/95 that I did marshalling at Anglesey last.
Well, this weather could have stopped the weekend's racing, but fortunately, the clerk of the course at Anglesey Circuit has announced that the meeting will continue as planned. It could be an interesting first meet this!
