Someone just emailed me this, which I'm told is Handleys (on the TT Course) I am booked to go across there for Easter (Friday) on the Blade.
By the Power of Greyskull... I don't have a telly. Didn't realise how bad it is further north. Those drifts are fearsome.
Not looking good for Friday trip... Villages still cut off after snowfall - Isle of Man News - Isle of Man Today "Unfortunately, it is likely to be many days before we will get through on the Cronk-y-Voddy where there are snow drifts of 10ft in places." The statement continues: ‘We will also continue to dig our way up to the Creg-ny-Baa where we are just over halfway up the straight.’
Ended up going in the car. Loads of snow piled up around the circuit and very narrow in places. The mountain was shut, but went up to Brandywell Cottage, road blocked :- Sledging / Snow Blading made a change from biking (Note Honda TT Legends Stickers ) No snow in parts of the Island :-
just waching live TT launch...Great to see Horst siger in the TT mood, also Josh Brooks seems to be ptreety confident about his TT posiibilities...cant wait for it to begin.. Isle of Man TT Launch 2013 on Livestream
Heading over from Liverpool on the 28th, and staying until the following Wednesday of race week when we sail back to Heysham. Will be my 5th time there, and my 3rd with the blade. Can't wait for it. Will likely be in a group with a Desmo, 3 Blades of varying ages, original R1, and an MV Agusta F4. All in there are 11 of us going, no idea what all the others will have, and are staying at the campsite up near the Grandstand.
