Hi all, I'm thinking of selling my suzuki track bike. I took it off the road about 2-3 years ago and done roughly 10 trackdays. The bike has does 20000m and Ive still got all the original fairings up in the roof somewhere. Ive lost interest in it a bit since buying the fireblade and the extra money would help fund the European touring I have planned on the fireblade. Tyres are maxxis and Ive done 2 1/2 trackdays on them in the novice group. Ive dropped it once at a wet Silverstone braking into vale ( I think thats the name of the corner). There are two sets of fairings for it. One which is in ok condition on the bike and the second Ive never got round to repairing. The front forks have k-tech springs in them and the shock is standard. It has a PC3, full akropovic exhaust system, k&n air filter and I think it made 110bhp when I had a custom map done. Ill have to double check that. Not sure its worth really. Open to offers. Any questions dont hesitate to ask. View attachment 9651 Thanks, James.
I had one of those , great handling bike ! Could ride it much faster than my 06 blade in the twistys .
Forgot about the V5. I have got the V5, so it can go back on the road. Not sure really. I just thought I'd put it on here and see if there is any interest for it. I dont know wether to A) sell the original fairings separately B) build it back to road spec C) sell everying together as it is. Let me think about it and I'll let you know.
Been looking for a track bike on and off for a while.. Budget would be around £1400 for a first track bike. But would like one with the V5, and to at least look half decent which is not all that common.
Your more than welcome to have a look at it. Your not that far away. I've had a couple of PM's about it already. I'll let you know what sort of price I'm after.
I too have a Tour to save for but I would be up for coming to have a look dude, where in Leicester are you? Pm me if you prefer...
Lol. Did it last year for £205 quid, Chunnel crossings and accommodation, and the rooms were good standard. 5 nights. Of course fuel, food, and nights out on top.
