Day off today, woke up at 11am and noticed its sunny...so quickly got ready and changed into my bike gear and headed out :D

Main aim was to run the tank of fuel down before i put the bike away for winter...was accomplished with a few power runs :)

Downside, had a women pull out on me and a great grandad doing 25mph in 60!

But aside from that enjoyed it......always makes me grin when im on the bike....havent been on the blade for nearly 2 weeks.....biggest buzz by far, so winter is going to be long and boring when i cant get on it!

Looks lovely up there mate, and bike looks ace.

My ambition for next year is to get out on mine a helluva lot more.
Along with the missus on herss too.
Two new bikes in June/July, and just over a thousand miles between them. Shocking.

Thanks mate, it really is for the scenery....on a nice sunny day i stop and just admire the view...its not all about going fast :)

As for the bike, i bought it with most mods people make, so apart from a few personal touches i plan on doing over winter...it makes me smile and is always fun...im learning to be a better/faster rider...so for handling its hard to beat a blade im told. Bike needs a wash, again!, too many bugs getting splattered on the front, lol

I've owned mine for 3 weeks or so and have done close to 1K miles, lol....but next summer i plan on going over to the mainland to hit some of the Highland Roads!

Unfortunately my wife wont even get on the back of my bike :( I wish she would, it would be fun to ride as a couple...though id need a bigger bike, as pillions would be uncomfortable i think....perfect excuse to buy a 2nd bike, hayabusa would be at the top of that list! lol

Cant beat anywhere in Scotland north of glasgow n edinburgh, the roads r fantastic n when hit a the right time, deserted of all traffic, so u can chillout n just enjoy the ride at a speed ur comfortable with.

I lived there for couple yrs with an ex g/f, miss the scenary n the fab roads n the weather when its good. do love going up for a weeks holiday, but biking aint over yet for this yr, true tad chilly past couple days, but still think we got few more weeks before they start gritting.

    My idea of heaven mate.
Miles away from other people, neds, cities, traffic etc.
    One day.

As for my missus, she got her own new 600RR but still insists on stealing my blade.
Think she likes the attention she seems to get when folk see a girl riding a blade.

Lovely day down here today too, but cold.
Still hopeful of getting another wee run out before the end of the season.

They are lovely looking bikes. Sometimes wonder if I missed out buying my 11 plate. Maybe I'll have to have both lol

I had one of them, and when I had my almost brand new 08 in white I preferred the look of the HRC.

Decent mile munchers and still look stunning.

I found mine really hard / impossible to sell and ended up trading it to Hunts for what felt like peanuts and they re-sold it really quickly. Think the new 08 bikes being put meant people wanted the 'new' blade not the 2007.

Yeah, it was bizarre when I bought mine, could've got a newer blade for the money or cheaper with a few more miles but always loved the underseat exhaust model. At snett on Monday I had a chance to compare the two on the back straight at WOT, the newer blade is definately quicker but the looks just don't do it for me at present :(

    ,
The 07 still go for decent money....i've seen a few ads ranging from 5-6.5K....i'll try to keep this as long as i can, not many roads here to ride....same ones over and over again....so buying a newer bike for me seems pointless....saying that the impulsiveness in me will probably sell it for a 14 plate come xmas
