Now that he's parted ways with the TT legends , where do you think he'll end up ? I'm disappointed he's not staying as his performance this year at the iom was immense. I think it would be great to see josh Brooke's on the legends bike on the roads this year. And maybe Samsung Honda at BSB.

I'm the same, both surprised and disappointed after as you said his great and best TT this year, seems odd. All I can imagine is the corporate thing isn't for him, perhaps he will look to take his own racing team further this year. JM hasn't signed yet either but I can't see him going anywhere else.

Yam are rumored to be in pole position to sign him and have a generous offer on the table.

What ever bike Dunlop rides he will be formidable and I'm looking forward to being there next year to see what happens.

I am disappointed but not really surprised. Michael Dunlop was awesome in the TT this year and I expected him to win the Seniors as well. When I watched the race he didn't seem to be riding with the same aggression as he did in the other races and almost looked like his heart was not in it . It made me wonder a bit if there had been any team discussions as to who should win the race or whether his bike was as quick as JM's.

I think it will actually be a good thing for racing as he seems destined to be number one.

Reason for above comment is seeing this on Sunday, and a mechanic working in something on a Sunday , they dont work Sundays...

Think Dunlop is a real talent with a determination second to none.

But he's kidding himself if he thinks he doesn't need a big team to win. That said, if tt legends have dropped him, something must have gone on? The family name is strong with Honda and the fella is surely the future!?

    Bizarre all round IMO!?

only problem with young dunlop is sometimes he has a big chip on
his shoulder called uncle joey and this has give him a bit of an ego
on some of the races here which has then led to more than a few
bust up's with other riders.probably was told mcPint would get the
number one bike so he walked.

I thought Hutchy was signed up for Yamaha on the roads and I assumed Connor would be staying. So either Connor isn't staying or Sean Muir is gonna run 3 bikes.

Really... If anything I'd say he resented uncle joey as it meant his dad didn't quite get the recognition?

Bad to say, I think he just has a maverick attitude because so many close to him have passed away. Depends if he wants to win titles or not give a fcuk... Can't have both IMO.

    Look at guy

Do agree with alot of the posts already above,

For sure he was amazing this year winning 4 races n on course to do the seniors n win equalling Hutchy's record of 5 wins, but i fear summat was said or summat happened so JM cud win??? As he looked soo deflated after loseing out to MD soo many times.

But MD upped his game, lost alot of weight, got fit as fiddle n gor himself on the best bike with the best team resulting in them wins, so it wasnt just the bike.

Plus Honda is a world wide brand n they want a rider who is customer friendly, lives a cleanish life n says yes sir no sir, that MD ( imo ) isnt that man, JM is n hence y JM has been a Honda man for yrs.

The good thing is JM on the Honda n MD on a yamaha / kawasaki will ultimately show whose got the biggest balls n goes flat out from the off. Which means great racing for us to see :)

Do believe the Dunlop family / name r jinxed n this is summat he shud bear in mind, but fink once that helmet is on, only the win matters!! A Marquez of the road racing world :)

yes a chip on his shoulder called joey so he is all out to prove he is better.
he pulled out of the mid antrim one year as they said they wouldnt give him
starting money, they dont give any riders starting money but he thought he was special.

Crossed wires, I thought you meant he loves the name, really don't think that's the case.

Do think he thinks he is out to prove something though, and not by just winning races ( if that makes sense? )....

Think things went a bit sour when he wasnt given a full power SBK for the ulster GP. So much so he pulled it off the grid and wouldnt race it.

Was deffo down on ponies to the TAS bike. Think the words were "They gave joey shit bikes, they wont do it to me"

Was indeed... I'm might be mistaken but thought joey was pretty looked after by Honda once he got over the PR side and learnt to realise the big team has his best interest at heart too?

Like I say. Might be wrong.

Find it hard to beleive MD could slag Honda off for shit bikes when they gave him 3 x more tt wins in a week than he had in a career!?

Think they only gave him the SBK. His stocker is hunts/MD and his 600 is PTR/MD.
Granted theyre honda but not factory given or supported.
