So no slicks for newcomers which is ok would happily use the Dunlop d212 . After a successful 2013 racing series we are delighted to announce our plans for 2014. We are running 8 rounds in association with MSVR and Pirelli, with superb prizes on each event and for championship positions overall. Championships NLR Endurance 600 & 1000 NLR Endurance Newcomers 600 & 1000 Pirelli Super Series 600 & 1000 Metzeler Newcomers 600 & 1000 Proddy 600 & 1000 (2 classes, 200-650 & 650-1300) No Limits Cup 600 & 1000 Technical regulations No Limits will be running one set of technical regulations. Partner tyre brands will be set for all championships (except No Limits Cup) and slicks will be allowed for all races except the Newcomers series. Technical regulations will be attached shortly. Licence requirements All entrants must have either a Novice ACU Licence, Clubman licence or National Holder Licence. International licenses are excluded. Clubman or National licence holders are not allowed in the Newcomer races. Any entrants entering a British titled event in the last 5 years may enter but will not quality for points, prizes or trophies. On most occasions a test day will also be held prior to the weekends. ACU Courses 2014: Saturday 15th February Cadwell Park Sunday 16th February Brands Hatch Sunday 23rd February Snetterton Thursday 27th February Donington Park Thursday 6th March Brands Hatch Thursday 13th March Oulton Park These courses will include classroom and on track assessments with staff on hand to give whatever help or guidance you may need. Further information will follow shortly. NLR Endurance 600 & 1000 powered by Pirelli. This will be a 3 hour endurance race except for the Donington round in May which will be a six hour event (additional costs apply). You may enter with a team of 2 to 4 riders. Teams may use one bike per team or one bike per rider. There will be two championships, one open to all and a novice championship where one of your team must hold a novice race licence. All riders must run on either Pirelli or Metzeler tyres. Slicks may be used but not by novice licence holders. There will be tyre prizes at each round along with the following championship prizes. Prizes for each championship - NLR Endurance and NLR Endurance Novice First place:: £1000 cash prize per team plus a free European event per rider. Second place: £500 cash plus a £200 trackday voucher per team. Third place: £300 cash plus a £100 trackday voucher per team. Fourth place £200 cash plus a £50 trackday voucher per team. Fifth place £100 cash plus a £25 trackday voucher per team. * Riders that have entered a BSB titled event in the last five years can enter teams however will not qualify for any prizes or earn any championship points. Pirelli Super Series 600 & 1000 This series will include practice/qualifying and 4 twenty minute races over the weekend. Pirelli slicks or treaded may be used. You must hold a clubman race licence or above to enter, no novices allowed. Riders that have entered aBSBtitled event in the last five years, may also enter. At each round there will be tyre prizes for first to third places in 600 and 1000s plus test day vouchers for the top five finishers. * Riders that have entered a BSB titled event in the last five years will not qualify for any prizes or earn any championship points. Championship prizes for 600 and 1000cc championships as follows: First place £1200 cash plus a free European trackday. Second place: £600 cash plus a £200 trackday voucher. Third place: £400 cash plus a £100 trackday voucher. Fourth place £200 cash plus a £50 trackday voucher. Fifth place £100 cash plus a £25 trackday voucher. Additionally the winner of the 1000cc championship and the highest placed rider aged 25 or below in the 600cc class will receive a free entry into the final round of the British Superstock championship 2014. Tyres will be supplied free of charge for your entry into the Superstock. *Wild card entrants for the Pirelli Super Series 600 class must be 25 or under as of 1st April 2014) Metzeler Newcomers 600 & 1000 There will be individual newcomer grids for both 600 and 1000cc. Practice/qualifying with four 20 minute races over the weekend. Metzeler treaded tyres to be used, no slicks allowed. Open only to novice licence holders only. Series winners from 2013 may not enter. Prizes include tyre prizes for the top two finishers and test day vouchers for the top five finishers at each round. Championship prizes as follows: First place £1000 cash plus a free European trackday. Second place: £600 cash plus a £200 trackday voucher. Third place: £400 cash plus a £100 trackday voucher. Fourth place £200 cash plus a £50 trackday voucher. Fifth place £100 cash plus a £25 trackday voucher. Proddy 600 & 1000 Practice/qualifying withfour twentyminute races over the weekend. Open to all licence holders. Any Pirelli or Metzeler tyres may be used but treaded only, no slicks. All bikes must be pre 2009. There will be two championships 200-650cc and 651-1000cc. Two sets of prizes will be awarded per championship, machines up to and including 1999 and 2000 up to and including 2008. Tyreprize for the top finisher in each class plus test day vouchers for the top five finishers in each. Championship prizes as follows: First place £500 cash plus £200 trackday voucher. Second place: £250 cash plus a £100 trackday voucher. Third place: £150 cash plus a £50 trackday voucher. Fourth place £100 cash plus a £30 trackday voucher. Fifth place £50 cash plus a £20 trackday voucher. No Limits Cup 600 & 1000 Practice/qualifying followed by four 20 minute races over the weekend. Open to all riders novice, clubman and national. Competitors may use any manufacturer tyres they wish including slicks but novice licence holders may use treaded tyres only. There will be tyre prizes for the top two in both 600 and 1000cc plus test day vouchers for the top five finishers in each class. Championship prizes as follows: First place £1200 cash plus a free European trackday. Second place: £600 cash plus a £200 trackday voucher. Third place: £400 cash plus a £100 trackday voucher. Fourth place £200 cash plus a £50 trackday voucher. Fifth place £100 cash plus a £25 trackday voucher.
