Dislocated shoulder is supposed to be the most painful injury you can suffer! A guy at work found that out in a near fatal w@nking accident...

I dislocated mine at Oulton and it was less than pleasant. Not something I would recommend.

So have you had the "it's time to give up doing trackdays chat yet"

Done my collarbone twice(moto x) fecking hurts whenever you turn your head and not a lot they can do with it they used to do a figure 8 bandage round your armpits/neck so best thing is get pissed as that worked for me especially on pain killers.:D

I'm self employed as well, but got a good insurance thing going on here, If out of work longer than a month they pay up, and alot more than my "monthly salary", I've been down 2 this year, within 2 days aswell :D, unfortunately not longer than a few days off.
First crash was nothing big, second crash niether but I did fracture my shoulder blade, bloody hurt as hell, went down on the last lap of an endurance race, picked the bugger up and still rode it over the line, drove 300km home and then the missus thought she would take me to the hospital, the buggers didn't see it until after 3 weeks of me nagging about my bloody arm/shoulder hurting.......

plenty of time to recover now in the winter to be up to full strength for next year
