I can do it without the rearbrake, by letting the clutch pop fast and using body weight to get the bike on an angle.... doesn't do any good for the laptimes though..... but does look good for people watching :D

I have only used my rear break once, but as soon as the rear started to lock I released it, the rear brake locked quickly on the r6 and was very sensitive

Used to be able to do it on the RRS but not on this one, I think it may have something to do with the slipper clutch or a fear of binning it

I've done it under heavy braking coming into the hairpin at the end of Pembrey but not intentionally.

I have done it by accident once and I had such a tight grip on the saddle I reckon I could have done it no handed

With the back brake on the blade as crap as it is dont think i could do a skid in a straight line never mind doing that into a corner but it does look good .

Can you do it on a blade with slipper clutch? Ive tried it but the SC just seems to soak it up.

My r6 had a slipper clutch and the rear would get well lively if you dropped 2 gears lol. Was great fun... The blade is slightly silkier and soaks it up more.

But answer to original. No I can't :( yet.....

I did it accidently on a roundabout near mine a few days ago got half way round and there was a nice pile of grit, got the front round it but the back decided to skid straight across it.

    rabits nose

It would be a back brake application with a slipper clutch I reckon, unless it was all going horribly wrong and was really the start of a highside

I was told by a lad at cadwell that you need to have a lot of weight on the front end and come down an extra gear and let the clutch out. Guess the rear brake just controls the amount of spin? I wonder how much the electronics play a part when marquez has it at full lean with the back wheel 90° out from the front?

Na and not gonna try it i hardly use my back brake maybe if I've run wide and trying to not tuck front while braking in corner but thats about it

Personally, I like to get around the corner in one piece. I have enough to think about on circuit without worrying about the back wheel being out of line. I am no Marquez and and never will be, so am more relieved to get around in one piece. Would be nice to master, but I think that the drive train would suffer in the long term.
