Could do it a wee bit in the RR5 by shifting weight as far to the front Inside and dropping two gears at once.this bike I'm on now just Does the slightest of squirms and I haven't just got the confidence To encourage it with a dab of the rear......has anyone ever got rid Of the slipper clutch in theirs yet ? Wouldn't mind doing that.
not sure if I can write it up, but it takes some practice and it was on my old R6 2003 with no slipper clutch.... couldn't get it going with the SC, only after I took it out.... weight shifted forward and I would change back 2 gears and let the clutch pop, the rear wheel would start to jump up and down and all over the place, keeping this in mind use your hips to push the bike to the outside so the nose is pointing into the corner, some how the bike would straighten up and I would turn in, I could only do it on one corner on my local track here, it was also on a slope down, so not sure whether that had something to do with it...... Not too sure if I'll be trying it straight away next year on my new 13 trackblade... I had plenty of parts for the old girl, but don't really want to bin the blade doin something that's not giving me faster laptimes
I used to do it on my ZXR400 when I was young fearless and stupid, not done it purposefully in a long time....
I rarely use back brake only if I have run wide and need a bit of speed scrub off while cranked over . Don't think I'd feel comfortable doing it if it was a nice quiet trackday I'd probably have a go if wasn't gonna get in people's way or put them off totally sideways lol
It's true though, I know guys that get around the track good enough, and have been doing the same lap times for 2-3 years... sounds pretty boring to me
Book on a TD mate it will change you forever I have a 2012 blade and a 05 zx6r I goto Europe on the blade once every 2 years or so the road is just so yawn lol oh my lap times get quicker every year except when on arse
