    That's the reason I said don't bother.

The insurance Co's know this and will load accordingly.

It'll be too expensive and too restrictive in the T&C's for it tp be worth while IMHO

Bit like 'Loss of earnings cover' for the Self Employed, you'd do far better just putting some aside every month, cept U won't you'll just Piss it away on Bike gear like the rest us Junkies! [IMG]

    Y.T.

I posted up the details of the policy by Locktons - will try and find it but its at least 'something' and I think very wise for anyone racing / biking without good 'reserves' or sick pay

Here you are, a link to post on same subject

    http://1000rr.co.uk/racing-bike-sport/13998.htm

It looks like a fraction of the cost of racing for the season to get 'some' cover in place - there may be other suppliers available of course

Can you post up a page of the summary of cover benefits and prices please - other wise you cannot really compare and with this type of policy the benefits (payout and length of payout / restrictions etc.) are the key decision makes, not just the price (sorry work nerd head on!)

Simon farquhar!! Top bloke!!! Don't suppose he's related to Ryan Farquhar?

Anyway my policy covers me for ANY lost time from work, could be a race accident, tripping up when pissed, even a bad case of manflu! Starts paying from the first day of missed work on weekly basis and rate of 60% of my salary.

    33 quid a month

That's good cover - how long does it pay that for (the 60%) of salary?

Never mind 'Wot Man Said' Mark, it needs to be written in BLACK n WHITE with no small print get out clauses.
