Washing the bike at the weekend and i noticed what looks like less than 1mm on my front brake pads

So i went on fleabay and ordered some, they came today. Much to my disappointment they only supplied 2 pads to cater for only one caliper. Why the hell would anyone put new pads on one side!?

Is it just me or when they say "front pads" you expect all 4! or am i asking for too much?

Seen these on Ebay before, bet it says only for one side and you missed it. Bit of a sales ploy I think. What pads did you buy by the way?

To be honest ive never purchased pads for my blade yet, so I haven't a clue whats good or not, they are armstrong pads, i always prefer sintered pads tho, i feel they work better in the wet.

You should have put a search into the forum, it's been covered a million times and would've given you a better idea of what everyone else uses. :)

Generally sold as 2 pads per pack, for one calliper. Who knows why as like you say it's common sense to change both sides. Next time maybe message Andy at demon tweeks.

With brake pads in my experience you get what you pay for so buy the best you can afford deffo not something worth scrimping on a mate had an armstrong rear pad seperate from the backplate on his 954 when we were in Germany have tried SBS good performance but not very long life got mates that swear by bendix and if want to spend big bucks there is always brembo i use EBC double H sintered great all round

I haven't fitted them yet, will the brembo fit the standard calipers?

    Thanks

I fitted them today. I caught them just in time, almost on the metal; wouldn't want to damage a disc

10k miles on the original pads; not bad eh
