Wheres the best place to get a seal kit for the tokico calipers as having stripped mine down they're all split or mis shaped.
I have never tried them so can't comment on quality but I know you can get brake seals from wemoto.com if your struggling to source some.
That's surprising, my 09 is coming up to 30k and used in all weathers and the seals were fine. I've seen 10 year old seals still in good nick. Maybe one of your cleaning products is not rubber friendly - just a thought. How is the condition of your piston?, mine did not fair well, they were very corroded where they meet the pads. Anyway 2 sets of these are a little more reasonable HONDA CBR1000RR 2004-2012 GENUINE FRONT BRAKE CALIPER SEAL KIT 06451MEL003 | eBay.
Got some genuine honda seals from a local bike parts supplier for £38 (The pattern ones were £46!) No brainer really and although expensive for what they are they're needed to stop a 180mph bike. At least I know my brakes will be spot on this year. Refurbished calipers, new discs pads and brake fluid.
My mate has done them, I supply him what he needs and he's done the rest in his workshop. There is a company in Sheffield that do them here Brake Caliper Rebuilds
