Gilles AS31 GT

Fitting Gilles as31 gt rearset to my 2012 blade with Akra slip on Akra slip on mounting bracket now touches swing arm? Anyone else have this problem?

 

Any chance you can post up a picture so we can see

 

Have you fitted the spacers (6mm)ish ??

 

What Rob said, I have a fitting kit I bought that I don't need with spacers etc if you need some

Bottom line is, akrapovic exhaust alloy tapered nut is touching the swing arm

 

I will get a pic of my Gilles tomorrow for you, I had to cut the bolt down a bit but there is clearance now with the spacers

Your welcome to buy the kit mate I won't charge you what I had to pay !!! Daylight Robbery for bits it's was for BSB can but wouldn't work so still in the packet

Looks like I got a bit of fettling to do, lose a mm here and there. What clearance do you have Jamie ? Hard to judge in close up pic.

First ride since fitting rear sets and all seam okay.

 

Im having the same problem, I've used the spacers the came with the can and had to add a washer to space it out.

Also what bolt did u use to mount the can to rear sets? I've got a bolt left over!
