    Hi again guys.

Sorry for posting yet another thread but I'm in the middle of sorting my RR-7 and have noticed that I get tiny electrical shocks when my hand / arm touches the pegs, forks or basically any metal part of the bike.

Just wondering how I could cure this and where the problem could stem from?

Could it be a bad earth on the alarm / immobiliser?

Stop wearing 90's shell suits! :D

Can you repeat the process multiple times or does it just do it once every now and again?

Its prob not the bike thats creating the shock but you generating static elecricity via your clothing which is being discharged through your bike, i get this quite a bit from my car when exiting and grab the door to shut it then wham depending on what clothes im wearing at the time!

    No it's definitely not static.

If you hold a peg with your bare hand you always get that initial little spike and if you hold on you can feel a vague yet constant dull current.

I've only just had the bike a month.

The battery was flat on delivery though, which could indicate the alternator is on the fritz.
