Looks verrrry nice fella! Some nice mods too. One question, is the rear hugger a Honda one? Are they making them for ABS bikes now or did you just ignore the dealer's warnings like most people? Any issues with it catching the ABS gubbins on ride outs? I know some people that say they do and some that say they've never had a problem - which is putting me in 2 minds about getting one for my ABS 'blade. It's just a lot of cash to shell out if it gets wrecked after fitting it....

Alright Mac, It is a genuine Honda one. I had extensive discussions with my dealer with regards to fitting one, Honda list it as an extra for the non ABS only. Luckily there was a lad in the showroom at the time who had a 2011 ABS blade with one fitted, Said he tried an aftermarket one and when he hit a severe bump it cracked. Put on the Honda one and never had a problem. I took the plunge as I wasn't keen on the Ohlins getting covered in crap all the time. Loads of folk on here have done the same.

I have done 700 miles (limited to 6-8k rpm) and it hasn't even gone close in my opinion though.

OK - cheers for the info. Know what you mean about the rear shock. Looks like I just missed out on a cheap Repsol hugger on here tonight too :( Oh well - I'll keep my eyes peeled for another... :)

Lol :). I've done the usual to mine. Bobbins, chsin adjusters, tail tidy, levers, rad guard, down pipe guard, fork protectors, barends ha. I fitted a hm plus on Friday although I've not used it really only been getting itv set right. Need to do a few more miles for 1st service. Spoke to Akrapovic sbd the csn is still at r@d stage do will be another 6-12 weeks they said. I've got a Titanuim carbon arrow can which is going on. Got a mate msking a custom link pipe for me :). Love the bike tho . It's getting better and better everytime on on it. Gets plenty of attention when out aswell which is cool :D
Made the right choice for sure. You'll be exited about getting your gp shifter on I bet :)

I love it, although I have only had limited time using it so far, DaveV may be a good bloke to ask as well as he did a lot of testing for HM before it release :)

It is smoother than the Plus especially in the lower gears even 1st to 2nd is good, the harder and faster you push the smoother it gets:)

Easy enough to fit and set up IMO (if you need any advice please feel free to ask) and you will spend ages going over the datalog looking at when you changed gear the force to change, how much time HMSS saved you this time etc

I actually got to work 2.234 seconds quicker the other day lol .... I know its probably wasted on me but still its nice to have and I love it, cant wait to try it on track where the benifits should be even more obvious.

Lovely bike. Wish you well with it.
Still can't believe that on a race bike (as Honda refer to it as) that a quick shifter isn't standard.
Neither did the Honda salesmen I spoke to the other week either.

I need to get a rad guard & a down pipe guard. Gilesy could fit them seeing as the beast is in his garage ;)

I'm the same, I think the bike gets better every time I'm on it. Took it to get the ohlins set up properly for me too, Best £90 spent so far.

Very excited for the GP shifter, Looks a trick piece of kit.

I have the dealer fitting my one, I managed to get it included with my deal for the bike as I'm not the best mechanically.

I very much doubt it will be anything but wasted on me too, Its very cool though :)

You've convinced me that the carbon front guard is mandatory! Full credit again to R&G for finishing a fine Blade too!
