Hello, i went for a ride today and noticed a crack on the dash of my bike. Bit guttered about it.
Just wondering if the dash clocks can be dissembled to change the front screen. Or are they just a unit?

bit unsure what to do but vibrations id imagine would make it bigger over time.

Not just me then. I can't do the magic eye things either.

But if it's cracked for no reason honda will replace it for surely.

Is the crack bottom right? - i.e. not on the main screen?

Ding ding ding, Times up. Tims right. Its half way up, far right. Ill get a better pic of it later today. Ill have a word with my local honda dealer. I reckon its been knocked. But i cant just go pointing fingers at everyone whos touch thd bike.

Thanks Ian. Im glad it can be taken apart. Worse case ill just have to buy it for £140 and get it fitted. But ill see what dealers say. Might get lucky.

No probs. From the pic the bottom right (where the warning lights are) looks to be broken - but it must just be the way it has come out in the photo. Good luck getting it sorted.

    Cheers,

    Ian.

The pic as promised. Can see the crack visible due to the light and angle.

    Hardly worth it is it?
Does not impede your view of the clocks.

Its bugging me that its there. And its not a problem at the moment, but over time it could widen and allow moisture etc in. What would people in my boat do? Fork approx £200 for it sorting or leave it be?

I'd get it sorted one way or the other, otherwise I wouldn't sleep at night thinking about that f*cking crack.

Unless there is more to the story than your letting on, get it done under warranty I don't see the issue with not having it done. I can't believe a Honda dealer will ignore the problem and not pursue a warranty claim. Yes it's a bit of work for them but that's exactly it, work.
