Hi all, I'm on the hunt for a Repsol Fireblade RR8 onwards. If any of you have a none forum user mate or know of any forum members thinking of selling could you please point them in my direction. I'm a cash ready buyer with the use of a van on the 30th of march, so everything is in place at my end for a nice smooth purchase. Have you tried calling the A Team? If you want a Repsol and nobody else can find one maybe they can help? On a serious note though dude how about this for you I have just traded in my 09 HRC at Belle Vue it already has full crash protection, r and g rad guard, K&N filter, Leo Vince Exhaust and Samco hoses fitted to it. It also has the 2013 Wheels which cost me 2.5k to buy from Honda direct. Now I know the bike isn't in your colour scheme of choice but why not buy it (I would imagine it will be up for around 5k) then get Dream Machines to do the paint job on it to change it to a Repsol? Just a thought...
Lol, madhead. It's not a bad idea but it's a bit of a cfuffle, maybe I'll consider it a bit more if my search drags on too long, at the moment though I'll stick with my criteria as it doesn't seem to be to unlikely. I've actually got a PM to reply to after this message offering an 11 plate so hopefully that one works out, although I suspect it will be slightly out of my £6500 budget due to its age and very low miles, fingers crossed though. Keep looking fella. I had a similar problem finding one last year. Came very close to doing a deal on a Hayabusa, before a Repsol blade (within budget) popped up online. Needless to say I snapped it up Good luck!

Hiya Dave, yeah I've seen that one advertised elsewhere and actually phoned him about it. He said its got some small scrapes hear and there and that someone travelled from Warrington to see it and walked away, it just left me thinking why would you walk away, presumably he's asked all the questions he can think of before travelling 400 mile round trip. So I thought I'd leave it for now as I've already wasted a lot of time and money on visiting a bike that wasnt as described and I'm a bit worried about doing that again. All that said, I am really itching to get a bike now lol. What do you think of the price and can you tell if its a full system or just a slip on if you don't mind me asking? Andy B
Personally I would ring again and see how bad these scratches are,he says full system cant tell from looking but he sounds a old guy (arthritis) new tyres and battery less then 10k miles,levers tailtidy hugger all stuff you wanna put on I would be tempted to at least have a look at it, just those scratches maybe a bargaining tool offer him £6200 show him the money see if folds then hit ebay for replacement panels.....tank shelters are cheap enough.

I've spoken to Jkaye a bit today and he was willing to sell it to me but I've just left a deposit on another bike, it's a 09 with 8,000 miles and comes with a couple of the nice extras but leaves me wanting to buy an exhaust, seat cowl and r&g kit.
