    Hi all

    Newbie arriving.....Having just sold my K8 GSXR 1000 I'm after a Fireblade. It will need to be a little older. ( unless someone wants to sell me a newer one cheap of course ) so am scanning classifieds daily. I'm after anything from 2002 onwards with under 20k on the clock. I was searching for service details and came across the forum so thought I would join up for the information sharing and advice.

    I'm based in St. Neots in Cambs so will hopefully get to meet some of you at some point.

    Hi Jimbo and welcome to the forum. Love the Gixers, had a few in the past and now have a 2006 Blade and love it.Good luck in your search.

    Maybe...I'm not sure if I should openly admit that ;)

    Anyway if I get one can you work your check over magic on it I now have a few lined up...the budget seems to be increasing daily which it wasn't supposed to do....

    Preferably under 4k may stretch to 4.5k.

    Welcome buddy... If you're lucky you may find a RR6 !
    Its worth shelling out a tiny bit more as they are the sexiest blades ever made and have all the performance you'll need dude ;)

    RR6 would be nice...looking at a all black RR5 at a stealer tomorrow in Oxford hopefully.

    Nice mate, still the sexy shape, 6's and 7's are a lil more sorted and more powerful tho ! You'll still have loads of smiles per hour out of it :)
