WP Rear Shock 08 onwards

    I have a WP rear shock for sale, bought this to put on the race bike but decided to go ohlins instead to match the front once i get that sorted.

    It's been set up for a big lad who I got it off at 100kg, but comes with 2 spare springs so can be set up according to your weight.

    I paid £500 for this, looking for my money back. pics to follow.

    £400 quid plus postage for someone on here before i stick it on ebay?

    If I didn't have ohlins id have this, top quality shocks, as I remember Paddgets used them on mc pints bike in the TT !

    £400 is a bloody bargain :)

    Was tempted but looking for ohlins also got one lined up for £690 new from the states

    What's that when you add import tax and vat ? Or is there a way round it ?

    I looked at forks but by the time you added it all up you were looking at uk price

    Even with import tax it's still £200 cheaper than here and trying to get the seller to mark as a gift

    My rear is £550 posted marked as gift etc hopefully avoid tax will let you know ;)

    i hope not Martin, but i'd keep it tucked away just incase they find out - think they are pretty wise to it ;)

    what is the tax if you do get "caught"?

    They are very wise to it as I ship a lot of stuff from the states for the limos but you could be lucky if not you pay the below

    Import taxes is 10% tax then 20% vat on total

    not major money - but looking at around £725 all in so an increase of £176.

    keep it tucked away Martin ;)

    tbh £550 is bloody cheap - where did you get that from mate?

    So I would end up paying what ever $20 works out into due to the mark down

    They know what things are worth mate. As jase says, customs deal with this sort of thing a lot lol All I'm saying is be prepared for the worst.
