Hi, Just trying to get a bit of a heads up..... This seems to be the popular choice amongst forum members when it comes to chain lube. What typically do you guys pay for this? Reason I ask is that I may be able to buy it direct from wurth through work and save everyone a bit of money? This is a totally not for profit offer and am trying to weigh up whether or not it would be cost effective
I got some because it was all my local bike shop had. I used it and thought this is really good stuff! It doesn't fling off like some of the wax lubes, and it isn't sticky so you dont get a dirty sticky chain after a couple of rides. Then I read the reviews on here like you say it seems a popular choice, I'd use it again. Ozz

yes very very good! the only reson i stopped using it was i could nearly get 2 cans of another brand for that one

. In my experience they all, (even the so-called 'NO-FLING' ones) to some extent, 'fling' and, if like me, your bike has white/gold wheels, it's a constant pain trying to keep 'em clean. I'm seriously thinking about taking a trip to my local dealer/breakers and getting an old rear-wheel sprocket, welding it on a shaft, mounting it in a lathe, spraying it with 'NO-FLING', spinning it up to the equivalent of 100mph and seeing just how much gets flung on to the nice clean bit of cardboard I'll have positioned at the back of the machine-tool. Just like 'Lockster', I've already accumulated a fair few samples of the brands available so I've plenty to go at. Does anyone know how fast a standard 'blade back wheel is turning at 100mph? Nick.
Duno what all this fuss is about with a bito non corrosive lubricant getting lobbed on the rear wheel. Can't be arsed to clean the bike anyway so a bito Oily shyte on the rear wheel is neither here nor there, just on the back wheel instead!
Yes, true. But when it transfers itself from tyre to living room carpet a note of discord will almost certainly interrupt matrimonial harmony. That's when a more serious SH*T/FAN equation comes into play. Nick.
