OK So I am a plonker.

I have just wasted best part of £100 on a new set of Black anodised Sato Racing Street Hooks and didn't read the small print before entering my card details, yeap, I bought the Non-ABS version and I have an ABS!

So if anyone is interested I have these for sale, they are brand new, I didn't even open the packaging as realised my mistake as soon as I opened the package so come factory sealed with all the original bolts and instructions etc.

...that is of course unless someone has bought the ABS version by mistake and wants to swap? ;- )

Are you not better off just contacting them and asking to swap them, sure they would understand.

The ABS versions aren't 'flat' if that makes sense, they protrude away slightly to clear the ABS gubbins, they are also a different shape. Unfortunately I don't fancy sending them back to the US where I got them from because they were in-stock owing to the return shipping.

I only wished they would fit with a 'tight squeeze' but looking at he proper ABS ones, clearly they don't so I have no intention of opening the packaging.

You live and learn ;- )

The ABS version from Sato are also more expensive than the non-abs iirc for some strange reason. Most annoying :(

They are different shape to clear the larger under seat box that houses the rear valve unit for the abs.

You put them on the bike in place of the rear foot pegs, you can then fit and remove the pegs as you want without it taking over an hour, you can also use the loops to tie down the bike if needed, Rexpeed also make the same sort of item but for the pegs only with no loop :)

I was hoping to see £70 including Special Delivery. I don't want to give them away, just frustrated at not reading the description properly!

I'll take them Mike. How do you want paying? PayPal? Or I can put money on to any of your credit cards if you prefer.

Graeme, not that I feel I need to justify - but - I paid a little extra because I ordered from a US site that actually had them in stock and not on a lead time, this with shipping and taxes came to £97.01; best price I could find them in the UK was about £85 but they were not in stock and I would have had to wait. Unfortunately when I decide I want something, I don't like waiting ;- )
