You know those days when you and the bike feel as one? Well the other week I got on the bike and it felt small, which is surprising as I'm not the tallest at only 5'8" on a tall day. All day long I felt fully hooked up with the bike and looking at the photos of the day I think this one sums it up nicely. Roll on the 18th
This is true. I'm a great believer in the whole synchronicity of riding day things. Freedom and I have often talked about it. When you're in the zone it's sublime. When I can't get comfy after a few miles I'll just turn around and go home. The day I wrote off my Ducati, I didn't want to go out, I bitched about it and sulked then only went because my mate had ridden a long way to meet up, and look what happened. My last ride out, I felt like my leathers, boots, gloves, even my helmet didn't fit properly and the bike felt way too small. I sat at 68 on the motorway and was only too glad to get home. Then it took me umpteen times to get the bike to fit in its slot back in the garage.
Me too but this is probably the last year of mine being one All things being OK I will be picking up some OEM fairings on the weekend, and so next year she will be red and black. Was very nearly going to be matt black and gold lettering but I decided to go OEM in case I sell her next year.
