it's obviously where my leathers are rubbing and scuffing up the plastic, it's only minor I know but I'd like to resolve the issue, how can I sort it out please  the bike is still under warranty would they replace the part seeing as it's my leathers creating the problem ?

Try SDOC 1000 Colour restorer. It doesn't look like scuffs, looks more like deposits from your leathers or beastie residue.

Remember it is a motorbike and its for riding, I always scuff up my swing arms with my heels and you are always going to pick up scuffs here and there.

I would agree with this and i am as OCD as the next rider but some '' damage '' is a given when a bike is ridden on the road, i always try and keep it to a minimum and of course add all manner of protectors but in the end some marks, scuffs have to be taken on the chin..... either that or don't ride it and place it on a stand in the living room !

Could try wearing some of these over your leathers, just pull them right up the leg so they cover your knee area Hudson !

Take it you not got tank grippers. With the stomp grips you get a black piece that covers those bits where your knees sit.
