Track Day RAF Odiham This Sunday!!

    Well all booked in for my second ever (trackday) Well OK airfield riding day :)

    Went there in September last year before the engine swap (rained) and the next one is this Sunday!! Cant wait but the forecast is bloody rain again!! grrrrr It better not is all im saying.

    Can anyone recommend what tyre pressures I should drop down too? Have supercorsa's

    have the GoPro tank mounted ready for some footage, they wont allow helmet cams or soft mounts as they become a hazard to the aircraft when they fall off! Dont want a GoPro getting sucked through a jet engine I guess!

    Anyway here's the vid I took last year, was very slow but it was wet and my first ever track session. speedo under reads by 20% so im not quite as slow as it looks in the vid lol

    Will post up the new (Faster) footage next week :)

    There's not much to see martin as the track is away from the paddock area. Best thing is put your name down for marshalling, see some real close action then and get paid 20 quid for your troubles and a free lunch :)

    Snetterton is Sunny Monday and Tuesday and still places left both days ;) just saying that's all :D opps - but 170 miles away :(

    Have a good time buddy, I want some knee down action! The weather has to change! I did hear someone was going out last Sunday, leathers on then it started to rain sat down and fell back to sleep (still in full kit....) headscratch.gif

    Just checked met check for you lamb chops and that's normally pretty acurate

    Sunday is 20 deg no cloud and pure sun! From 1900 rain all day up until then hope you got water proofs

    Yeah weather still bad.... Won't know until tomorrow night I guess for sure... Still hoping it's going to change

    Weather improving for tomorrow just some showers now.. Annoying thing is it's just tomorrow rest of the week is dry! Grrrr
