My thoughts exactly. Never is the old adage more true than with tools - " You get what you pay for ". Buy a tool roll and fill it with the bits you need of a decent brand.
Agree! I'm a Spark and Air Con Engineer by Trade and a decent pair of Snips costs me £27! That's £8 more than that whole 'Tool' Kit! Make of that what U will!
Its just the roll no tools are included with this set. When I used to go enduroing my mate had that roll in his bag it came with no tools then and if you look closely you will see a lever in there and im sure they wouldent just throw in a random bike lever lol could be a GS one lol But he used to think it was a great wee storage system for his tools and always recommended it to me Like the lads are saying you get what you pay for tool wise but lets be honest no normal bloke is going to buy the likes of facom snap on ect I did but im a qualified mechanic so i kinda used them a lot lol Halfords professional and even teng will do you good enough.
Ahhh ... ! Even the thought of the Facom catalogue has my mouth watering. I have an engineering workshop and all my tools are Facom, having said that, the Snap On man is dropping by to see me tomorrow. Tools, Bikes, Cars its all part of the same addiction !
Love the kriega stuff,gonna get the tool roll to keep all my bits in when away,there's only so much you can squeeze into the OEM one. That's after you've thrown all the original tools away
Realistically you won't fix the bike with anything out of that tool roll, put it in the drawer and save the weight. Best thing is a mobile phone and AA membership card. Mines int drawer and btw I love tools as much as any other bloke does
Ah..my bad..thought it included the tools...lol... Yep tools are expensive..but I don't want to spend £££'s as I'm not on the bike often..its really just to get me out if trouble...
Good puncture repair kit,8 10 and 12mm quality spanners and quality Allen key set will allow a bit of tinkering if required when away. A 32mm ring spanner will also allow chain adjustment. Would also come in handy if someone tried stealing your bike
