Just seen on Facebook that a young lad lost his life to the sport at No Limits on Saturday. He was racing on a number 4 R6 machine in the No Limits Cup Series. Rest in peace, so sad to hear
It's very unpleasant the circumstances something I won't put on a forum myself put another bike was involved . R.I.P
They never do Mark! I did the weekday trackday before the Saturady one at Oulton last year when those two blokes died over Clay Hill. I was also booked on the next TD after that fateful Saturday one and not a Jot was said about it at the morning briefing, twas business as usual!
I know man but I just think in the interest of showing some compassion for all their customers and regulars trackday/nlr
I think they would love nothing more than to show their condolences but legal / insurance reasons etc stop them.... That's one tight paddock and I know that the NL guys will be feeling this big time. I didn't know the lad but it brings it home, from what I saw and heard they dealt with it well and with the utmost respect. We all knew it wasn't good news and deep down possibly terrible, but we all went out again, and had it been someone else I'm sure he would of done the same... As jase said, I don't think this is the time or place for detail, I think the lad was incredibly unlucky and unfortunately died doing what he loved, but ultimately knew what risks were involved. Wish all involved, family and friends the best, I don't do the R.I.P bit as dont believe in it tbh but my thoughts genuinely go out to them all. Sad day tbh.
you'll find they still dont talk about as the whole legal side of it is still ongoing, aswell as NL being sued by 1 of the t/day lads that was injured.
