I'm easy, racing is racing.... Think ill see what classes NL are running inc track time against hottrax and decide front there, but can't help think that the NL still keep a very simple, competitive but also well organised format...
Agree with you jimbo but hottrax have better support and more opportunity to ride with some class acts. Cba with parkitt all year
Got to agree with tyke, riders in Hottrax this year have included Dean Harrison & Russ Mountford (both top lads), Hudson Kenaugh (2014 super stock champ), Gary Johnson. Neil Mckenzies two lads. They're just the ones off the top of my head.
What support you get mark? Or really need? Know you had a bad experience with Parkitt (and it was bad tbh) but all they do is change my tyres and think they are a nice bunch of blokes if I'm honest... Yeah I get you guys get a few more big names race at odd rounds, but tbh I see the flip side of that, they turn up to test and practice, no doubt win (think Hudson k smashed it at Snet?) fcuk up the championship points for the reg lads? Bear in mind the new comers 1000 leader was doing 1.35's at cadwell and the Pirelli lad almost 1.34 flat.... Which is quicker than what neeves won one of the national races in so unless you get the pro wild cards I'd say the class is pretty similar tbh.... Yeah it's cool to see them on track, but you won't learn anything from them guys as you won't see em lol.... All you will see is how much money they have to spunk on a bike. In all honesty, no doubt if we all started in the other club we'd all think ours is great, sure hottrax is but from what I've seen I wouldn't say it's better than NL and visa versa.... Ill see what tracks and classes NL are running, same for hottrax, have a chat with my team mate jase, crew chief Dave and press officer Bruce and decide from there
The thing with parkitt is I might need suspension setting up at various rounds and after there last service I'd feel a bit awkward
Totally get that mate. Tbh I don't use them for suspension either but once yours has been upgraded it should only need minor tweaks? Which lads in the paddock normal help out with?
Oh and btw mark, I told you wrong... NL cup is 600 and 1000's together! Didn't realise... Not sure what it'll be next year but guessing much busier as there will be loads of newcomers losing their bibs My guess is they will group some together and try and get couple more classes so more entry fees and money. Have to keep an eye on it - ill ask when I see them next as no doubt they must know their plans already!!
Na mate usually dec/jan they have to wait for BSB then touring cars etc etc club racing last ish on pile I think
Having looked at cadwells calendar for this year, it looks good. Cadwell twice sells it for me!! Do they film any of the races. Its a good way to review your pace
