Does anyone with one of these know if they can be calibrated for alteration of gearing or do they still need Speedo Healers fitted if accuracy of the Speedo/Odometer is required? Ta muchly in advance!
I will find out on Sunday mate but I'm sure the gearing can be corrected via the ecu with the zx10, i know it ca with the R1. I have asked them to do it and they haven't said they can't....
They have settings for gearing but you can't alter the speedo. However, you can use the GPS as the source for the speedo reading but if you use the bike as the source you need a speedhealer if your speedo is out on stock gearing.
I'm not sure, but I think I rememeber jase saying they aren't that accurate, they tend to knock 1 or 2 seconds off your actuall lap time.....
Yup, takes five seconds to mount and fit... I watched Dave do it lol Fits standards bike specific mounts, then you just run through the gears to calibrate, much like a gipro gear indicator. Can set it for gearing but I run mine on GPS so speedo is dead accurate
They are like rocking horse shit to get second hand as I'm discovering... Looking like it will be a new unit
Yep same here my blade clocks are hard to see especially gear indicator . They sell for around £200 aswell so it will chip a bit off
Being a highly skilled Spark it would be a bit embarrassing if I got someone else to do it, unless that someone was Arthur, in which case he'd be far quicker and I'd use the spare time more wisely and blag his head about other stuff I'm less confident with! Looks too nice to crash with TBH!
