Spoke with Bob at Telferizer yesterday about an idea I had and he has made me a custom RAM Mount for my RR7. He is an absolute top bloke, quickly understood what I wanted and came up with some better suggestions. As normal I had over thought/complicated it, but his solution was a lot simpler. Less than 24 hours later it was delivered without me having paid for it and just an invoice with Bank Details to make payment

    10p and 1p for scale

Anyone care to guess where it is going to fit?

Really is a nice bloke to deal with. Sort of person who restores your faith in humanity. Will make sure I pay him tonight, and not just because I may have another project for him soon.

M6 yes, not where/what the perch bolt is though. Answer is it is for a mirror socket on the front of the bike. Going to use it in conjunction with my blanking plates to have a mounting point for a bullet cam. Awaiting the clamp for the bullet cam, but this is how this bit fits/looks.

Hopefully will have the other bits in a day or so to give it a trial fitting. Am also thinking of getting one made up to use in place of the main mirror bolt for when I want a camera on the road.

Will the wind not twist the camera on that mount?

Hopefully not if it is clamped tight enough, but it is a risk though as I am experimenting with where to put the camera and so it is currently untested.

Will probably have recorder unit like this, but am considering the option shown in the 2nd photo of it
