I'm having a problem with my 05 Blade getting hot and forcing water into the expansion bottle on track. I replaced the rad and this helped a lot but if I proper spank it on track she still gets into the 90s and then when I come in it climbs if I don't switch it off and starts filling expansion bottle. I've been told to buy a higher pressure rad cap as I believe the standard is 1.1bar or 16psi. I'm looking for a 1.3bar rad cap that will fit. I've googled it but only chinese rad caps are coming up and they are saying delivery in October. Anyone know where I can buy a higher pressure rad cap?

you can get (or should )be able to get a 1.6bar rad cap at most places,i've got one here, but tbh it doesn't make much difference to the running temp of the bike,i tried it ;)

Can you run the Evans waterless coolant on track?

I was told any rad cap for a japanese bike should fit. It's not so much to lower temp but to stop it boiling in the head and forcing coolant into overflow bottle.

I'd say your existing cap need replacing, have you checked it?

It probably doesnt even hold the 1.1 bar thus allowing to boil over into the tank at lower temps.
