** SOLD ** I'm selling on the HID Projector headlight setup I put together for my bike. As much as I love them, it's too much money to have sitting here on my desk while I'm out of work. I assembled them completely and all that remains is that they need 22m holes cut in the back of the original bulb covers for the wires/grommet to fit through. Once that's done they're watertight and ready to install on your bike (they were not installed on mine). The headlight was sourced from eBay. It came off an 09/10 bike that was converted to a race bike. A couple of tiny stone chips on the left lens, but they're tiny and other than that they're in great condition. The projectors were purchased new from Kingtech and shipped over. I chose the Projector headlight with a white halo, 4300K Crystal white main bulb, red demon-eye, no LED's and no indicator. It also comes with 2 extra HID bulbs that I got at the same time (so 4 bulbs in all) as I guessed they'd be awkward to source/replace should one go pop. All in all they cost me £300 and I'm just looking to get my money back for what I paid. Clikky Piccies: The spare bulbs
I wish i had a spare £300 cos they are fab.. Good luck with your sale, im sure someone will want them..
Bump ... now on eBay Assembled Projector Headlight kit for 2008-2011 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade | eBay
Had I not broke my leg recently.. I would have had these...different...nice.. Would both bulbs come on?
Someone was offering 200quid but looking at the auction it was obviously better to let it run and see how much higher it went. That was what my reply was hinting at
im sure the seller is mature enough to make that decision and maybe come back with a counter offer if needed. personally i hate ebay...i think the fees charges are a big rip off - they so over inflate prices.
just you say you have bumped the price up, i would be very unimpressed if it was me bidding and saw that statement,
Why mate? Seller is trying to recoup his money (£300) and I wanted to help the situation. Yes I intentionally bid up to 190quid and may still put further offers on as I wanted to fit a HID kit to my bike and almost tried to send a unit to Dave V to wire up for me before tour but ran out of time. So yeah I think its worth the money and he's just trying to get his money back so don't see any issues there. Seller is a forum member too not just joe public
as i know the person who is leading the auction or at least was leading, i hope you or someone else is willing to pay what he was going to and you haven't ruined the lads auction
Ruin his auction?? Where's all this negativity coming from? I'm genuinely bidding up to the current max I was comfortable paying which would have obviously helped seller pushing auction price up rather than sitting waiting/hoping for it to go up at the last minute. I have bought lots of items and never once had any issues so if I am bidding I am very interested dude dont worry
The way I see it, it is the seller who has money invested in this not the buyer and he stands to lose out if he doesnt get what he paid for it. Although I dont know the seller personally my concerns are with him not another potential buyer trying to capitalise on his situation and being out of work... That and more so he is part of our community
