Well a few weeks ago ....after a while of do I ? Don't I ? I succumbed and fitted a smaller plate ..job done So been blasting here & there , called in dealers today to get radiator guard Salesman, who sold it me asked ..private plate mate ? No I says same as you gave me just smaller, No it's not ! He says, checks on his computer the front letter is Y should be a W. Check when I get home order and I'd printed the reg wrong when I ordered it...doh Could of been embarrassing if stopped..small plate & wrong reg
Very lucky indeed, dibble would of taken a very dim view of (in their opinion) trying to avoid the ANPR or speed cameras. I gather its changed now.
When I bought my bike I went to bsb thruxton for the weekend a couple of weeks later, luckily the seller happened to walk past the camp and notice the reg was wrong and text me to ask if I was there. If that didn't happen I would still prob have it on 5 years later!
