A worthy approach... But you could spend thousands on the bike for a couple of seconds yet an extra hundred quid on some slicks?

As for talent, well that's all down to you mate :)

I did say they might be saving us from a few mistakes. They probably are.
I am just as bad cause I love my dunnies and would love to try slicks just to see the difference

Just to say on the subject of tyres when I first stared tracking I pulled tyres out of a tyre wall and used them cause I thought they had enough grip on. I'd use them till they went past the wear bar and had no tread u could see on them. One even had a pull though bung repair that I went out on. I felt like I rode just as hard on them.
Sure it was silly lol. Now I'm well careful about how many laps I do, heat cycles etc. it would be nice to see how much faster iv got.

I'd imagine a fair bloody bit mate!! :)

Tbh I learnt the hard way at donny, deep down I knew the rear was past its best but kept pushing. Tyre wasn't wrecked in terms of tears or treads gone, perfect wear infact, but it'd seem too many sessions and heat cycles... :(

How many days / cycles you use before changing mate?

One race day from a rear Iv done from bad setup lol. Usually I'd say id use my rears for two days but that's say 20 laps And Mayb a trackday when not pushin so hard for so long. Then change them. Fronts will last longer but people want to buy pairs which is a pain.
That's just what works for me tho it seems
I can't seem to find a good setup on my bike anyway , who said blades were easy to setup lol. U learnt mate just a shame u got hert
