Have you notified your insurance Si........?? Your Additions are worth more than the bike are they not ??
Yea ... Lol. They are a bit snatchy and not very smooth. Standard work well and are smooth. If u use the blip method and comfy with it ul have a smoother conrner entry I think. It takes a while to get used yo a sigma as no need to blip etc and they don't pull away as nice. If it was a track bike I'd say dooo it. I may be talkin pants but ifit were me that's what I would do as have used both and I do like a few mods also. I can't comment for stm or others only used sigma and standard
i've always wondered about the HRC clutch pack and what's different about it to a staNDARd cklutch pack as nobody seemed to know, well i just happened to find out by chance. the difference is the HRC pack have more friction pads on the discs to aid slipping and gripping compared to standard. so,in answer to your original question,i'd say no it's not worht it unless your doing lots of race starts and backing it in
Thanks buddy, yes I think Padgetts describe the clutch pack as you say. Might just stick with stock and change the clutch packs.
I have a Sigma slipper clutch with standard plates on the RR6 track bike I've not ridden it yet. It would be interesting to compare to my standard RR5 road bike though.
My clutch of choice, run one in my RR7, awesome! Installed and used loads, such a great clutch, ride with the slipper in mind so down shift and fully release the clutch, the less you feather it the better, Sigma are top of my list.
Absolutely, bang down three gears let the clutch out, simple, great on fast corner entry with zero risk of locking the rear. On a bike with no slipper at all, it's a must have IMO. As for how much better is the sigma over OEM 08+, they can not be compared IMO.
