are daytona boots worth it

    are they worth almost four times as much as my a stars. mine are tired and i need a new set but all that for boots is that extreme

    most people that use them say yes,but at 1200 fior the top end,or 900 for the next ones down it is a lot of money.they are not the most comfortable to wear around the paddock,and a couple of mates bought then sold thiers as they have little feeling due to the Kevlar inner boot,but I know some top end racers that swear by them.

    keep an eye on m/forum,ebay etc as they do come up from time to time.just don't get confused with the security evo gp 3 and the the security evo3,theres about 300 quid difference new so should reflect the price 2nd hand

    I guess it all depends how much you want to pay. Personally I like their boots and have worn them for years. The one thing I refuse to do is pay the rip off UK prices and always buy mine in Germany. Even mail order only adds another 10Euros for P&P

    kent thanks i did notice ebay from germany was a lot cheaper, wasn't sure about that but if u say there real it could be a go. think i better try some on first . i do like my astar and wondered if id just buy them for 250 special offer thats running

    Try the stuff on in the UK, and then use legitimate sellers like bikerland.de and louis.de, they are good to deal with and authorised resellers.

    they are made in Germany scott ;)

    I'm in 2 minds also my supertech s are getting a tad old and 4 crashes but they are so comfy from day 1
