I have a 2011 Blade (having been through multiple manufacturers/models over the last 12 years). I've never been a forum member, but I'm looking forward to communicating with fellow blade owners and possibly meeting up for the occasional rideout.

Be careful mate, this is a well executed trick, he will gain your trust and offer advice, link pipe construction, friendly ride out all to get you on his home turf and hypnotise you into buying him beer!! Don't ever look into or around the eyes!!
Don't forget the bit where he hypnotises you into being deaf if ever he asks you a question. "fancy a pint, mate?" "Eh?"
Been reading about your accident - not a nice experience! I had a bad high-speed off in 2003. I broke 9 ribs, broke my scapula, damaged my liver, not to mention the skinning I had on my right side. I'm glad to say I'm fully recovered with no long lasting effects. The accident was treated as a fatal by the police, but I guess I'm a lucky sod and it wasn't my time. Funny how riding is in your blod (no pun intended) would take more than that to make me even consider giving up so I fully understand your determination to carry on!
Thanks for the offer, but I'm working until friday when I'm off for a long weekend. Looks like today may be the last day of dry weather for a while too. I'm up a for a ride at he weekend if the weather's dry!
