Is there any way you can put on a lock on classified ads? What I mean by this, is that only members with 10 posts or more can access the for sale forum. It may sound daft, but I always hunt for cbr bits on eBay and other places, and it would be fair that contributing members get first shout rather than lurkers??

Yes, this would also help stop for sale posts from new members who only joined to sell stuff (see my previous rants on the subject). P.S. Should possibly move thsi post to the Suggestions forum or whatever it's called.
yup done Rob has a few things he needs to do, new boards and a few things for suppliers so bare with him. some very good idea guys If rob does the minimum limit for new members for before they can see the for sale section I will add in the rules/FAO new members their posts will be deleted if they post anywhere else to get over the 10 post or whatever limit on the for sale section. then no issues when posts are removed as everyone is aware of this before they post
yeah, stops traders and phishing for sales and buys. I think its only fair to contributing members Rob.
Rob has updated the for sale section and parts, accessory and clothing to minimum of 10 posts before you can read them . So he's on the ball
I think it should be more than 10 personally . Somebody could make 10 posts in 5 mins and have an item for sale on here . The car forum i use doesn't let members see the sale / wanted section till they pay a £10.00 membership to be a full member . You get a welcome pack through the post with 3 large club stickers . Im not sure that is the best way to do it but i think new members should have to use the forum properly before they gain access Maybe get to level to on the experience points ??
