Finally arrived.. although no paperwork, no manual, nothing in the box bar the dash! Guess I'll go hunting online at their website!
I bought a sheet of A4 carbon off the internet last week as the dash is actually made for a CBR600 (the connectors are the same) since the dash is technically not available for the 06 blade. Plan tonight is to take off the old dash, then make up a new back plate with the carbon so that it mounts to the bike, then mount the dash to the carbon plate
Arthur tells me that the low fuel warning won't work (no big deal as I keep an aye on the trip for 100 miles anyway) .. and there may be a little fiddling with LED indicator resistors.. but the rest should work perfectly
Just a word of warning for drilling carbon, wear gloves as carbon splinters are pretty dodgy and if you get one they can sometimes travel around the body.

Well, after an hour out in the bat cave, I've trimmed myself a little carbon back plate. Its not the finished article yet, but thats a wee start tonight to getting it up and running. A few photo's from tonights shenanigans Old Dash Nose to come off Side by Side Get the old dash bolted on Then the new dash - remember the carbon at this point still has a protective blue sheet on it High Tech face mast used when cutting the carbon (dammed if I could find the decorating dust masks) First attempt complete (I have enough on the carbon sheet to make another plate if this one is wrong) and a wee video of the first time power up - glad it fired up haha.. Too be continued tomorrow evening....................

Mounted! Bit of a pain but temp mounted so I can figure out the water proofing part at the back since the dash isn't designed for this bike.. was playing around with the settings and you can have various dash styles Will be a fair bit of tinkering yet.. but football stops play tonight
I think it's a quirk of the Forum that 'deleted' picture? I've had that a few times. Once you've posted a picture, even if U edit and change/add pix the original stays and gets dumped in at the end of the post! Mods?
