Yeah seen it before, on the road would have been far worse though, got run over by oncoming lorry!

 

Indeed! I know of / heard of plenty of 'mates' who have collided on the road on 'ride outs' usually not to a great conclusion

i'll tell you what jay,it's not that unusuall,got oulton park written all over that,looks like he was going to come in the pits,then thought better of it.happened a few times at oulton that.

 

Happened to me at Snet, dudes bike conked out instead of pulling over on side he was he darted for pits right across main straight, I hit him with elbow and knee flat out as I swerved into pit lane entrance and across grass back onto straight.... Was mid race! Shat myself I tell ya....

 

Eek.. And I thought the track was safe! Well on track days anyways, not racing..

 

Still think it's safer.... Maybe lots of offs in comparison, less damage to the rider in my experience....

For every track crash video there are tonnes more road ones

 

Haha very true.. My carbon beast got a thrashing at knock hill in September, I went into the novice / inters group but was passing most folks over and over again.. Didn't have the balls to go in with the big boys on my first track day.. Maybe next time half way through the sessions I'll grow a pair
