Ive been after a carbon lid for a bit, waited for the NEC to try a few on, been thinking of the NEXX Carbon but tried a couple on and I'm afraid they aren't for me very uncomfortable. Then Icarus green (Andy) put me on to the Nolan xlite, not tried it on the road yet but very comfortable and very light, picked this up for £280 with the black visor
I've got a couple of xlites, really good helmet with a lot going for them, good price for carbon too. I think mine was £500ish. Andy B

Yes, both from lids direct. Check the dark visor is you order one as mine was the wrong one yesterday and I probably wouldn't know yet if Andy and Marion hadn't told me that they had the wrong ones.
It's a bit of a kick in the teeth but I have had it nearly a year, it went down £50 as soon as I bought it which stung a bit at the time lol. I really like the look of the Union Jack one, very smart. Andy B

I have searched everywhere over the last week or so and I couldn't find the union jack one less than the £417. Plain carbon cheapest was £329 or £349 with black visor. Looked at Bell M6 carbon, £599 most places, found it for £399 but not convinced about it. Still like the HJC Lorenzo as well.
Have a look at the Nexx XR2-R Carbon. I had the XR1-R and loved it (even after I high sided and landed on my head as it did its job well)
