Does anyone know whether the OEM factory plugs are NGK Iridium. Been servicing the bike today and, (eventually), got to the plugs. Pulled one of them out and it's as good as the new ones I was going to put in and NGK Iridium I bought the bike when it had just under 5k on the clock so it had only ever had the initial 600 mile service and I've done the servicing since. It's only got less than 10k now The previous owner was a no expenses spared bloke, so if Honda don't fit NGK as standard then he must have had them fitted at 600 miles
I ordered my plugs/oil filter through the motorfactors where I have a trade account... Plugs were cheaper than Halfrauds were charging....but not by much...42 is about 1/2 what I paid Still it's not like they have a use-by date .... so they can sit in the drawer till the clock see's around 30k Might take a couple of years though...
Just replaced my plugs while doing the valve clearance check. They were Honda main dealer supplied NGK Iridiums. From memory I think the originals were Desmo.
